Booking Conditions

When you make a reservation with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions:-

Payment

Upon confirmation of your reservation your credit card will be charged to secure your accommodation. Payments will appear on your credit card statement under one or more of the following names: LUXURYLASTMINUTE.COM PTY LTD, TRAVELSCAPE or IAN TRAVEL SERVICES
If you have paid a deposit for your reservation and we have not received the balance by the due date as indicated on the reservation voucher, the balance of the accommodation charges will automatically be charged to your credit card, unless you advise an alternative method of payment.
You can select the currency that you would like to view the property rates in, however the currency that is charged to your credit card is dependent on the hotels preferred currency for the transaction. Depending upon the currency of the booking, your credit card's currency and the country in which your card was issued, your credit card provider may impose foreign exchange fees and other fees which are in accordance with your arrangements with that credit card provider.

Changes to reservations

Contact us by email or fax to change any details of your reservation. Whilst we will do our best to accommodate your changes, some hotels may not allow changes or cancellations or they may impose an additional fee. The hotels conditions are listed on the hotels page and on your confirmation voucher.
In addition we apply a $25.00 AUD administration charge for any changes or cancellations. The booking fee and any credit card fees that may have been applied are non refundable.
No refunds will be made for no-shows or early checkouts.

Requirements upon check-in

The customer will be required at check-in to provide a copy of their reservation confirmation, photo ID to ensure your identity matches the booking identity and a credit card or cash bond to cover all incidental charges.
The person registering at check-in must be at least 18 years of age.

Website Information

We make our best effort to ensure that all the information that appears on our website is accurate. We do not accept liability for any errors and/or omissions and we reserve the right to change the information published at any time and without notice.
By offering for sale accommodation in particular destinations LUXURYYEARROUND.COM PTY LTD does not represent or warrant that travel to such points is advisable or without risk, and is not liable for damages or losses that may result from travel to such destinations.

Liability

Whilst every effort is made to ensure your requested room type is available, we cannot guarantee the actual bedding configuration of the room. These requests are forwarded to the hotel and are subject to availability on the day of check-in. All additional requests are also subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed by us.
We do not over-sell above the available accommodation inventory supplied to us and we do not accept any liability for unavailability of rooms caused by the supplier over-selling their hotel's accommodation inventory.
We intend to provide you with all the services that you request from us. In rare cases, when the hotel is not able to honor your reservation due to overbooking or any other circumstances, we will endeavor to offer you an alternative of comparable price and standards. If this occurs, we will contact you via e-mail and request your authorisation to proceed with this new booking. If you decline the alternative we will happily refund you.
We cannot accept responsibility for hotel facilities, which are temporarily not available, are under renovation or not suited to individual tastes and preferences. We cannot accept responsibility for any disturbance or inconvenience to the client beyond their control nor for accidents in a hotel or loss caused by hotel management or staff.
We act only as an independent agent to secure services of an accommodation supplier. Therefore, we have no control over personnel, equipment, or operations of these suppliers and shall not be held liable for any inconvenience, personal injury, property damage, or other loss incurred as a result of any wrongful acts, omissions, or default on the part of the suppliers directly or via our travel partners.
You acknowledge that while LUXURYYEARROUND.COM is the main reference within this user agreement the same terms and conditions apply equally to all business conducted between LUXURYYEARROUND.COM, LUXURYLASTMINUTE.COM PTY LTD and you (the Customer)
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. We receive payments from our accommodation suppliers for the provision of our booking service.
