Book ‘Luxury Last Minute’ for last-minute savings (within a 14 day period), that you simply will not find anywhere else.  The Last Minute rates are discounted by our accommodation suppliers because the hotels would rather sell the room at a discounted rate than not at all. 

Take advantage of the best available prices and accommodation experiences from over 64,000 hotels from 180 countries worldwide.  The ‘Luxury Year Round’ search enables you to search and book accommodation outside the last minute period (14 days) and up to two years in advance.

How do I search for the best available luxury hotels Last Minute?

• Use the Quick Search option (located in the center of the homepage) and select LAST MINUTE.  Select the country and city that you are traveling to and click SEARCH.  The best available rates and accommodation experiences for the next 7 days will display.  Our Luxury Recommendations will be featured in the first results displayed.
• To view the rates for the following week simply click ‘next week’s rates’. 
• Alternatively you can select a hotel by clicking NEXT or on the hotel name to view the room and hotel details.  You will then see all available room types for the hotel and the best available rates for the next 14 days.

How do I search for the best available luxury hotels Year Round?

• Use the Quick Search option and select YEAR ROUND.  Select the country and city you are traveling to and then nominate your check-in date and the number of nights required.  Click SEARCH and our Luxury Recommendations will display indicating the best available rates and accommodation experiences.
• Alternatively you can select the Hotels browse located in the menu navigation bar to search Year Round.  Again select the country and city and the hotels will display alphabetically.  Select the hotel to view all available room types and the best available rates.  You can change your search dates by using the Refine Search option located in the right-hand column.
• You can also use the SPECIALS button on the menu bar to obtain a quick search of the best available luxury hotel deals and year round specials worldwide.  As you move through the site you will also notice luxury hotel deals featured on the web-pages.
  

How do I search for the best available luxury accommodation by experience?

• Select the experience you are looking for from the options in the right-hand column.  Select the country and city and our luxury recommendations on the best available accommodation and rates to match your desired experience will display.

How do I search for the world’s most luxurious accommodation experiences?

• If you really want to spoil yourself beyond all belief, click on the LUXURYYEARROUND Platinum Collection.  You can then search through our directory of the most luxurious accommodation experiences available on the planet. 
• Our Platinum Collection properties may also feature in our banner image and you can click ‘TAKE ME THERE’ to view the room details and best available rates for the property.         

What is the ‘Advanced Search’ feature?

• Use the advanced search in the Quick Search option when you need to narrow the search criteria.  i.e. search for available hotels only, search by hotel name, search by hotel amenity.

Can I search for accommodation that is not ‘luxury’?

• You can use the advanced search feature in the Last Minute Quick Search option to search for quality accommodation that is less than 4.5 stars.

What do I do when I can’t find the hotel I‘m looking for?

• Try the Hotels browse located in the menu navigation bar to search for the hotel.  Some hotels will not display discounted ‘Last Minute’ rates but may have rooms and rates available within the year round program. 
• You can also Contact Us and we will endeavor to contact the hotel for you.

How do I make a booking online?

• Our reservation process is very easy and you can book instantly online with our secure online reservation system.  On selecting your luxury accommodation experience, tick the nights that you would like to book and then click BOOK.  Then proceed to select the number of rooms required, enter your reservation and payment details and submit the reservation.  The booking conditions and cancellation policy are clearly displayed and must be accepted before the reservation can be made.
• When booking hotels from the Year Round program you will need to select the number of rooms prior to clicking BOOK and entering the secure reservation page.

Can I make a booking over the phone? 

• Reservations can be made with our consultants by calling 1300 361 685 or if calling outside Australia call +613 9382 0176. 
• Our office hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, Australian Eastern Standard Time.
• Reservation requests can also be emailed to reservations@luxuryyearround.com

What does REQ ONLY mean?

• Where you see ‘REQ ONLY’, it indicates that the hotel is on a request basis for the dates specified.  This does not mean that the hotel is unavailable and in many cases the hotel will accept your reservation request.  To submit a reservation request click REQ ONLY, complete the form providing as many additional details as possible to assist with processing the request.  Our reservations team will process your reservation request as quickly as possible.  

Is the room rate per room per night?

• All rates are for double occupancy per room and are quoted on a nightly basis unless specified.  Some rates may require special identification.  The inclusion or non-inclusion of taxes and fees in the advertised room rates is detailed on the secure reservation page before processing the reservation. 

• The payment process may vary from payment-in-full to deposit only across the various hotels worldwide available for sale through our reservation system.  The payment process for the booking will be displayed to you at time of reservation and on the reservation confirmation forms.

What happens when I make a reservation?

• Reservation requests will result in a new screen displaying a confirmation of the successful transaction. The Itinerary ID and Confirmation # should be kept and used with any future correspondence.  This page can be printed.
• In addition, a confirmation of your booking is automatically sent to the hotel and a confirmation email is sent to you. The confirmation is generally an immediate email that may in some cases beyond our control take up to 4 hours.  The email confirmation should be printed and presented to the hotel on arrival.

When does the hotel receive my booking?

• When the reservation has been made as an instant confirmation the hotel will receive an immediate advice confirming that the reservation has been made.  In some cases beyond our control, it may take up to 24 hours before the reservation details reach the hotels computer system.  Rest assured that the room is booked however the hotel simply has not entered your details in their system yet. 

What if I want to change or cancel my booking after I have paid for it?

• Click on ‘My Bookings’ on the menu navigation bar.  Enter your email address and your reservation ID.  The details of your booking will be retrieved.  Enter your cancellation or amendment details and submit your request.  Charges apply to all booking amendments and cancellations, as detailed in the booking conditions and cancellation policies accepted by you at the time of your reservation.  Our customer service team will contact you to confirm the acceptance of the cancellation or amendment request and the applicable charges to the request.

Are my personal details kept private?

• Yes.  Please refer to our Privacy Policy.  Your details are encrypted before being sent to us over the internet.

Is it safe to enter my credit card details?

• Yes.  We take this matter very seriously and to ensure your security we have implemented the most advanced security measures, including 3D Secure Authentication systems, into our secure online reservation systems.  More details are on our Security page on the menu navigation bar.
